User School Program Patch Not Working

Hi

I'm trying to use this endpoint https://developer.sky.blackbaud.com/api#api=school&operation=V1UsersPatch

to patch the school program. I have made sure the new value is active and matches the school program type table. I have Contact Card Manager role. I run the patch API, get 200, but the school program doesn't update on the user record.

I've tried other data on this API (gender, boarding_or_day) works fine…

any ideas why school_program won't update?
