in Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT®: General Discussions

Many of my queries (used to) find the donor's last gift amounts accurately. Since adding NXT to the mix, now when a sust gift payment fails, a sustaining pay-cash is written in RE as a $0 gift amount. With the presence of these $0 gifts as the last gift amount, I'm unable to output the last gift amount that is >0. Opened a case and saw told nothing could be done. has anyone found a way to get the information I need, i.e., the date and amount of the last gift given that was >0? Thanks!

    if you are using Query in RE database view, Last Gift in a Constituent Query is not “conditionable”. A constituent's last gift in query is always only going to target the very last gift date's gift. So that “$0” gift will always be output-ed, not the “last gift that isn't $0”.

    You will need to use Export as Export's “last gift” is “conditionable”.

    @Veronica Renzo when I specified the last gift date and amount of ≥ .01 in export, it worked.
