updating Altru after making changes to appeal lists

After we run an appeal in Altru, we usually pull the list into Excel and make some changes. Sometimes we move someone to a different segment; sometimes we decide to remove someone from the mailing all together; and sometimes we change the ask amounts. I have never imported the changes back into Altru but would like to figure out how to do so. Looking for any advice on how best to do this.
