Power BI Integration
I am following the steps listed under the Power BI documentation, however, I got stuck at the point where I have to map my Client id (from developer profile) to the application tab of Raiser's Edge NXT (under Control Panel). I can find the application tab on my profile, has this been moved? given the video is a few years old.

To connect your RE to Power BI, you have to create your own app to call SKI API and pull data into Power BI. One of the ways is best described here:0 -

There a long post with a lot of screenshots and then another post that went through connecting.
I don't know what situation you are having nor where you are in the process, so more info will help get you there.

this is in the marketplace where you connect the application, I am talking about on developer.blackbaud.com, the developer application page.
then click into the application

you did not set a Scope for access, click on Edit scope and provide at least read only access to read data from RE NXT.You will then need to disconnect and reconnect the application in marketplace.

@Alex Wong Thank you so much for this. I have set the scope (see 1st image) , I also disconnected and reconnected app on marketplace. However, Power BI is unable to read data. See 2nd image
I have retraced my steps from the beginning, I am not sure if I missed any step.

Looks like you got the Blackbaud connector “working” to show up in your Power BI get data area.is the “Access to the resource is forbidden” only show up for Constituents? Did you try to get one of the table that show up (i.e. Fund or Event) and see if it load?

@Alex Wong Hi, thank you so much for your support, I have been able to connect to PowerBI, my app was pointing to the wrong environment. As advised during the live trouble shooting, I was able to connect to the right environment.
