Query search in RENXT stuck after putting in a date?

Is anyone else having a problem removing a date from the NXT query search? The query works just fine to bring up the query I'm looking for but when I try to remove the date, I get a “That's odd” message and I can't remove it. I've logged out, restarted my computer, cleared the cookies and browsing history, and logged in in incognito mode to see if I get the same result and I do. Frustrating! I have a case open with support.

@Carol Amussen Welcome to the BB community forums.

I got the “that's odd” window several times yesterday and now again today. Today was when logging in. Yesterday I think it was more in community. I just tried several times and eventually page I wanted opened.

This started for me yesterday and was hoping overnight would make it go away. Sadly, it didn't. I wasn't having any other issues navigating any other areas of RENXT. I'm hoping BB figures out this glitch soon because it's kind of difficult to use the new query in webview if I don't have the same functionality I need by using the database view. I appreciate your input!

  • @Carol Amussen Maybe you can not modify the old RE database view query?? is this new query that you created in NXT or old one in database view. Keep in mind that Blackbaud is still working on this query portion.

Yes, I can update the query in database view and I've finished my work on that particular project that way; however, I'm trying to use NXT exclusively to get used to it in anticipation of the database going away so I'll be well acquainted with it by the time that comes about.

  • @Carol Amussen - I am having same problem.

  • @Carol Amussen - Using “**/**/****" in the date field seemed to solve the problem and gave me queries from all dates.

Thank you, I just tried 00/00/0000 about 10 seconds before I read your reply and I was able to get it out of there too. Oof, this was painful. I appreciate your help!
