Creating an RSVP Link Using Raiser’s Edge Event Module

Has anyone successfully created an RSVP link using the Event Module in Raiser’s Edge without relying on a separate platform? I’m trying to set up RSVP registration using the Online Express Event Form and would appreciate any insights!

    RSVP as in they are “registered” for the event? but not paying? (is it a free event)

    or RSVP as in “interested” but must later register and pay to attend?

    @Sheila Wortham I’d like to create an event form that allows someone to either register or decline (free or paid event).

    OLX did not offer stand-alone registration pages - you had to embed code into another platform. NXT Event Registration forms did progress, with 2 options:

    • URL for form:
      To direct users to a standalone registration form, share this URL. Add header content to the form so it's easy to identify.
    • HTML to embed on your website
      To embed the registration form on your website, use this HTML code.

    However, they didn't build out an easy “Email Invites” process in NXT Events itself.
    You are expected to use the NXT Email tool - which can't even look up event forms directly.
    You have to copy the link, and paste it into the email designer.
