Planned Gift Entry
Hello! My org is creating a Planned Gift SOP. One of our Letter of Intent options is "Beneficiary Designation in my/our Qualified Retirement Plan or Commercial Annuity" but I'm not sure how best to code that vehicle into RE? Would it be “Other Planned Gift”? Or something else? Thanks for considering!

@Christiana Congelio Since you can create any vehicle, create one of Commercial Annuity or whatever your organization would like.

Well, that's the thing! The vehicle table is hard coded (https://kb.blackbaud.com/knowledgebase/Article/41304) so I can't create a vehicle and wondered what other folks do the alternate solution listed in the knowledgebase article (In the Vehicle field, select "Other Planned Gift", Populate the Reference field on the gift with specific description for the vehicle) or something else.1 -
@Christiana Congelio I forgot that field is hard coded. So I would do as you stated, use “Other Planned Gift" and make a note either in the reference or a gift note within the gift.
