How do you get the Response to update in the Appeals tile on a Constituent record?

Hi,

I am wondering how to update the Response in the Appeals tile on a Constituent record. It doesn't automatically update when a gift is received for that appeal.

You are not going to like this answer! Apparently this isn't a thing that will be addressed in Database View. I'm very curious if they will address it in Unified View? I hope that I'm interpreting KB solution 37942 wrong - but it could be that they aren't planning on fixing it at all? Unclear to me…
