Luminate adds extra code to my HTML...

Hi!

I use HTML, not the WYSIWYG builder in Luminate. I have a blank stationary set up. Luminate adds all sorts of code to my HTML which is causing problems for me. I have the WYSIWYG editor disabled. Any idea how to prevent this code from being added?

  • What code is it adding and where in your HTML?

  • All these weird "e0" and things like that.

  • Not familiar with that code, I'm sorry!

i am not aware that LO using HTML get codes added.

So if you got example, that will help. (example HTML that you used, and then after LO added the unwanted code)

    Hey there, @Brian Riback

Thanks for your question. For your email stationery, on the HTML step, you should just have [[S63:1]] or the XML version of it input on that step. This will ensure that only the email message would have the code that you wish to send with your email.

Next, regarding the additional code, as @Alex Wong requested above, can you please share a sample of the code you are seeing in your editor, so that we can better assess what you are seeing? Are you switching back to the WYSIWYG before moving on to the next step? Also, you are using the "Classic" side of the content editor and not the new "drag-and-drop" editor, correct? Are you copying and pasting directly from a Word document? Sometimes code can be included with Word copy and paste in the WYSIWYG side of the content editor.

Please be sure to use the @ to tag Alex and I so that we can see that you have responded to our request for an example of the code you are seeing.

Thanks, and we look forward to hearing back from you soon.
