In-Kind giving and the new home page

So I've always used queries to get my totals for Appeals, Campaigns and Funds so this hasn't been much of an issue before. But now that NXT has the new home page with tiles, I'd like to see my running totals reflected there.

The problem is, we often recieve highly valued in-kind gifts that make up huge chunks of our campaign goals, but in-kind values aren't included in the totals by the system. So it looks like we are nowhere near our goal when we are actually approaching it or even surpassing it.

Is this an issue for anyone else? How is everyone processig in-kind gifts with high values?

I'm still interested in how others deal with this, but I've found that if I put a pledge in first and then pay the pledge with an in-kind gift it shows in the totals. As long as you're looking at "Committed" totals and not "Reccieved". A weird work around but helpful.
