Constituent Giving History

I am needing a report to show by constituent how much for the calendar year they have contributed to each fund. I would like a total amount contributed to each fund and would prefer not to go in and do the math. I see the Constituent Giving History report and it doesn't give me a total given by fund for the constituent. It lists out each individual gift. Is there an easier way to get the info I am needing?

There is the report you mentioned and the Annual Statement Report but neither will put a subtotal by fund.

To be aware of - Annual statement does not include stock gifts. Constituent giving history does include stock.

Unless their is another way, you would have to export that in RE NXT to a CVS file and then sort by each fund and then total each of those funds in CVS. If you only have a few Funds, you can do this even easier in an Export Files with a constituent Query of the people you want and each column would be a total of each fund. But if you LOTS, like we do, it will take some work.

Technically this could be done in RE, but you would need to create constituent export that has one gift summary for every fund.

I think you could do this with a gift export and a pivot table that summarizes gifts by fund. Then you would probably need a vlookup to append that summarized data to the constituent. It depends on exactly what information you need to see and how you need to see it.

if you are doing this for more than a few (say 10) funds, do export and then use excel (power query and/or power bi will be more helpful in making this more effortness if this is a recurring reporting need).

if you are doing this for a few funds, then Constituent Query's export or Export module will both work, just use Gift Summary > total amount of gift. Use multiple, one for each subcriteria for each fund.

The Giving Statement in NXT does subtotal by fund - but as mentioned and for reasons I cannot comprehend - stock gifts are not included in giving statements
