Constant Contact Unsubscribes

Can you explain how unsubscribes work with the integration of Constant Contact with Raiser's Edge? Are constituents able to unsubscribe from a specific category of emails but not all emails? An example would be if someone receives an email about an event and unsubscribes, we would want to unsubscribe them to events, not emails for community news or giving. Also, can multiple emails be pulled in from a Raiser's Edge constituent record (for example non-constituent spouse email)?
