Unsubscribing from some mailings but not others in Constant Contact

I assume Constant Contact allows you multiple audiences that receive different mailings - what is the process (from the perspective of someone in the audience), of changing their mailing preferences - e.g. unsubscribing from one mailing, subscribing to another.

And a related question - how much can you customize between the different audiences? Can you use different email templates, send from different email addresses, use different organization names, etc. for different audiences?

  • Ah, just noticed my main question was already asked and answered. Sorry! Still curious about the second question re: different templates, org names, etc.

  • Hello Ben! Thanks for reaching out! You can absolutely create different templates, and set a different organization name, from name, reply email, etc based on who the audience you're sending to. If you use different accounts for different consent categories we can use account merge fields to dynamically pull in the name, phone, email, etc tied to each account.

Hope that helps and let me know if you need anything further!

  • Thanks @Thomas Nettesheim! Am I understanding you correctly that you can connect multiple Constant Contact accounts to a single Raiser's Edge environment?

  • @Ben Regier yes you can have multiple Constant Contact accounts. Each can be tied to a consent category so you can have your different audiences and ensure that a constituent is not unsubscribing from everything. We can schedule a meeting to talk through this further if you need.
