Declined Applications

Hi! We are testing the new applications portal. We sent a link; we completed the application and submitted it. We reviewed it and declined it, sent an email that we declined via system. When does the applicant see that the application was declined in their account? It is still showing as “In Progress”.

  • @Terry Malavenda wondering if you have heard anything about this? I submitted a ticket about it and was told it does not work that way but was in the idea bank, so I voted on it.

  • @Tonya Conaway During last week's Q&A session with Blackbaud, they mentioned new functionality will be added in Q2 that allows us to publish the status to the portal so that applicants will be able to see it listed as approved or declined.

  • Hello, I was curious if there were any updates since then? I had an applicant request that I update the status so only just realized that it doesn't show for them in the portal.

  • Hi @Faith Lee - you can publish the status to the portal using the Publish Status button on the Request record.
