Reports Taking Excessive Time To Generate If They Generate At All

Hello,

I am posting this here because I would only waste my time and get frustrated if I talked to Customer "Service".

At this time in the month, I must generate many reports. These would normally take about 20 minutes. They are now taking around an hour or more, if they don't completely time out and are abandoned.

See my attachment. It appears that the reports "Gather Data" for the amount of time that the report normally takes to generate. However, the process takes a long time to complete if it ever does.

Saturday, I ran many reports at once after getting frustrated waiting all day for them to finish one at a time. This resulted in 8 failing to process at all.

This morning, as a control, I am the only one running a report. I have only run this report, and it has been 1 hour and 10 minutes for it to run SO FAR! I took the screen shot after an hour. You can see it Gathered Data for 24 minutes, then stopped.

I see other posts talking about NXT being generally slow.

This is entirely unacceptable.

Edit to add: This ultimately took 2 hours, 10 minutes to run a 24 minute report. In the meantime others in our organization have been trying to run reports and the queue is getting backed up. One report "gathered data" for 54 seconds. It took approximately and hour to complete the process.

  • Hi @Jeff Trzaska it looks like the last support case was closed on 11/21/25. It appears it was resolved at that time. If the issue is happening again, a new support case will need to be opened. I also reached out to your CSM to make sure they were aware of the issue you are having. Please let me know if I can do anything else!

  • I 100% echo @Jeff Trzaska statement - I haven't bothered chatting with support because too often it's pointless and additional drain of time, but running reports are unbearable and I am the ONLY person, ONLY person, person running reports. Bad enough to deal with the bouncing green dot, now reports run at a snails-pace, and even then the snail sometimes win!

  • Did you have any resolution to this problem? We are encountering the same . . . in addition tho, our Accounts Payable cannot even access a Vendor or input Invoices.😡😤
