Journals not posting in dashboard builder

I have been working on dashboard builder to try and create new reports that will be more detailed than what can be seen on the dashboard. I created a report using the Budget vs Actuals by Account. I noticed that some of the journals are not pulling through to this report. Has anyone else experienced this? When I asked Blackbaud, they acknowledged this is an issue and said they will not be addressing this issue at this time.

    I've not seen that specific issue, but I have seen several others with insights in dashboard builder. Support ended up giving the same message after confirming issue, that it would not be addressed at this time. That aside, why wouldn't a budget v actual report work ? Can go account by account based off chart organizer, and it can even be scheduled to run and emailed using Report Scheduler? What were you looking to do in the builder that the report couldn't do?

    You can't drill into the budget v actual report. We are wanting the user to be able to see what expenses are hitting the budget without having to run a separate general ledger report.

    Technically you should. the catch is you need to run the report at a detail level you can see the individual account and description of account. when moving your cursor over it should change to a hand and that let's you know you can drill down by opening the account's record and click into the activity of the account

    I'm not sure if I'm looking at the wrong thing but the cursor does turn into a hand but nothing happens when I click on it. I previously put in a help ticket and was told you can't drill into dashboard reports, only dashboard builder reports. I am also experiencing issues with the dashboard reports not being accurate. I have put a help case in for that as well.

    the regular dashboards can't be drilled down into. The dashboard builder can. Also accounts on reports can be drilled down into as well.
