Has Importing Target Analytics Data into RE Database been solved?

Background: back in 2016/2017 we purchased a Target Analytics Screening (yay) and used the recommended import tool to put the data into RE Database view. That tool put the data into the prospect fields of Rating Source and Rating Category. It sounds nice! But since RE doesn't give the ability to filter/sort by Rating Category your exports were often an inconsistent mess. I finally gave up and created my own import system.

You can read about my frustration here: https://community.blackbaud.com/forums/viewtopic/287/32437

Anyyyyway…. Has this been remedied? Has anyone here had a Target Analytics screening recently and easily imported the results into database view in such a way that they're easy to query and export consistently?

  • Good morning Tom,

    I import the Target Analytics data on to the Attributes Tab:

    Category=TA TGR

    Description = a Table with the 12 ranges

    Date = date of screening

    Comments = are they part of the group ready to be moved up.

    Category = TA MGL

    Description = the number

    Date = Date of screening

    I do this for each of the scores with TA first so that they are altogether in a group when you open the tab.

  • We are doing what has been suggested by Faith Murray‍ and mentioned by Shelley Hindmon: defining the SOURCE as SOURCE+TYPE. This way we see what we want to filter from export.
