After syncing the JG batches in webview we are finding that when an existing supporter donates their address data is being amended. So if a donor only quotes house number and postcode it is removing the address lines, town & country from the record. I have set up a query to trace these donors so I can correct them back but this is extra work. Currently we import via the BB Links plug in in database view and i cant see any benefit in swapping to webview at present. Anyone else having issues with this?

    Hi Nicola,

    We created a new address type called “JustGiving” to avoid this issue. When reviewing the gifts for approval we make adjustments if needed. This keeps the integrity of the original address. For this and other reasons, we are very cautious using webview for gifts. JustGiving gifts are the only gifts we process in webview and we are currently testing automatic recurring gift. But all other gifts are processed in database view.
