This month's post features these topics:
Our Accounts Receivable Customer Tech Preview (CTP) is now in full swing! Check out this video about Billing Items in Accounts Receivable.
If you aren’t familiar with CTPs, they’re a new and exciting way for us to gather customer feedback that will help enrich the development of Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT capabilities.
During each CTP, our product management team engages a select group of customers to test a feature and share insights about their experience.
We are currently partnering with around 15 Accounts Receivable customers to learn everything we can about their receivables processes in Financial Edge NXT.
We will keep you informed as this CTP progresses!
SKY UX Update
We’re continuing to update and modernize Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT, working behind the scenes to update to the latest version of SKY UX—the underlying framework that allows us to deliver a more cohesive user experience across many of our products.
So far, we've released updates to Reporting, Fields and Tables, General Ledger settings, Chart Organizer, and Post subledgers. You can see product screenshots and learn more about these recent enhancements by checking out What's Recent.
The next capabilities we plan to release as part of this effort will include:
Reminder: User Display Preferences
The next Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT release will include enhancements to your user display preferences, such as tile and column order (see a full list below).
With this change, your current user display preferences will be set back to their defaults. You will need to set them again, but once you do, they’ll remain in place across browser sessions and devices.
This enhancement offers a more consistent experience as you work through your day-to-day tasks. Over time, if you need to update your preferences again, they will continue to remain in place.
Here are a few more examples of user display preferences that you'll need to reset:
Meet the Team: Reece Hopkins, User Experience Designer
We want you to get to know our entire Financials team. Each month we will introduce you to someone working on Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT.
Reece Hopkins is a User Experience (UX) designer who now works at the confluence of Blackbaud’s financial and fundraising solutions. UX designers focus on understanding you, our customer, so we can create better products, capabilities, and services.
During his career he has worked on medical devices, water technology, reporting, and Accounts Receivable.
He grew up in the west, but his family calls Charleston, South Carolina home.
