Why Become an Blackbaud Community All-Star? Ask the All-Stars!
Published
The nominations for Blackbaud Community All-Stars is now open. If you are on the fence about applying, hear from some All-Stars about what being in the cohort this year has meant for them!
Recently, I announced the opening of the nomination period for the 2025 cohort of the Blackbaud Community All-Stars, an exclusive group of members who go above and beyond to help others in our community. We asked a few of our All-Stars to share what being part of the cohort means to them to help encourage other community members to apply. Here’s what they said:
Miki Martin
"When I first started using Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT® in early 2020, I leaned heavily on those in the Community with their various perspectives to help me learn more about this new-to-me database. BlackbaudU is a great resource that I also used but the Community has many more “real world” situations than can be covered in a class. Returning the favor and “paying it forward” is my main motivation for being an All-Star. It is a constant environment of learning and supporting each other that I greatly appreciate."
Alex Wong
"As an All-Star, you occasionally gain exclusive benefits, such as opportunities to meet with Blackbaud engineers. These interactions provide insights into their current projects and offer a platform for providing feedback...."
Dan Snyder
"For me, being an All-Star would sometimes provide extra motivation to simply be in the Blackbaud Community on a more regular basis. Being here more often has been helpful in being aware of updates being made to Raiser's Edge NXT, SKY API, and the Power Automate connectors."
A couple more of our All-Stars also proudly showed off their All-Star branded swag!
