JustGiving and RENXT Integration of Anonymous Donors

I am having a major problem that no one seems to understand or can give me a fix. Here goes: When someone marks themselves as an Anonymous donor in JustGiving their gift does not transfer over to RENXT.  No gift batch is made with their information in it. So the gifts never get into the system let alone the constituent's information.  So my totals are totally off in RENXT.  This to me is a real problem. All of the rest of the grits have come over to RENXT just not the Anonymous gifts.  


Have any of you had this problem? What did you do?

These gifts should definitely be coming into RENXT even when the donor chooses to be anonymous on a fundraiser page (to the general public).  I see that you have a support case open and I will go ahead and connect with the associate you are working with to ensure a path towards resolution.  We will want to gather some examples in order to determine if there is an issue with the integration that we need to address on our end.  We will be following up very shortly and look forward to addressing this for you.

I'm actually seeing the opposite problem. All gifts appear in my batch download, but there's no indication as to which are anonymous. To make matters worse, anonymity is not an exportable field in JustGiving's reporting. So the only way I can know which gifts are anonymous is to visit every one of my fundraiser's pages and compare the listed supporters with a JustGiving report.

Not to get too esoteric, but I am wondering how your organization uses the field for anonymity? Because your comment got me thinking.
When a donor chooses to be anonymous in JustGiving, it corresponds with their name displaying on a JustGiving page. Which leads me to believe they don't want their name to be displayed on a campaign page, but might be okay with it being displayed elsewhere (annual report, etc.) Which could correspond with the anonymous checkbox in RE gift record and that particular gift record only. And you are correct that is not an exportable field in JG and it is not part of the integration. I think this is a great point. - Feel free to put in the idea bank.

However, I do not think we can use the JustGiving checkbox to extrapolate the person wants to be anonymous always. The always anonymous in RE corresponds with the anonymous checkbox on the constituent record/bio tab 1. I think it's not fair to assume a donor always wants to be anonymous based on a checkbox on a very public page.

What are your thoughts? How are you creating a policy/procedure for these 3 checkboxes? Bio 1, Gift Record, JG anonymous checkbox? Thank you for posting, this really got me to thinking. I am genuinely not trying to split hairs here, but I think it's something to consider.

PS: Last thought, the consent checkbox is exportable from JustGiving reports and that would correspond with consent/solicit codes in the bio 1 tab.
