Program Ticket Limit Error Message for Amount that Doesn't Exceed Limit

We are providing reservations for our members and general admission guests at our zoo online before they come in to limit the hour of arrival. I received a call from a member today who kept getting error messages that were not actually problems (at least not that I could see). This is the first time we've received one of the error messages at all.

The member wanted to reserve two tickets under his membership which only covers 2 tickets. Initially after registering on our web portal he was given an error message that indicated he had duplicate accounts. After some digging, I could not find any duplicate accounts and asked the guest to sign out and then sign in again. He did and the error message was gone. (This is the first time we've been shown a duplicate error message that didn't actually have anything duplicated). Then the guest tried to select two tickets and received a different error message. This one said something along the lines of "You have requested a total of 2 tickets, but the limit is 2." I asked him to try only selecting one ticket and the error message was the same "You have requested a total of 1 ticket, but the limit is 2." Eventually I made the reservation through Advance Sales on my end, but I am yet to find a solution to why these error messages occurred.

I have thoroughly checked the program which houses the members' reservation tickets and cannot find anything out of the ordinary. No other guest has reported this error and my coworkers have not seen it, either. Is there somewhere I can find what causes this ticket limit error message to occur, or has anybody else had this error pop up before?

Thanks!

  • I would be interested in this as well as we just had a report on this for a Member-only event.
