Yardigras 2021: Turning frowns upside down!

I don't know about y'all, but I am constantly inspired by humans ability to take something that is common place and when covid or something happens, we pivot and make the most out of it.


Right now, my current inspiration is what is happening in New Orleans. This year, they can't do Mardi Gras because of Covid. So, residents are instead pivoting and doing YARDI-gras! I mean, y'all. I am so inspired by this. They are decorating their yards and people drive by to see the decor instead of doing the normal floats and people lining up to see them.

That's cool. Just like our drive through Christmas Parades this year. The floats were lined up in a big parking lot for you to drive by.

The (nonprofit) radio station that I stream from the East Coast, www.kexp.org, does a "Music Heals" series about addiction, cancer, grief, etc. This year, since no one can go to concerts, they are doing a Music Heals program on favorite live music memories.
