Luckiest thing that has ever happened to you

Ever heard the expression "You should go buy a lottery ticket"? Sometimes this comes after a spate of good luck, or a series of fortunate events.


Recently, a man in Tennessee won the lottery. Then he lost the ticket. And then... well luck shined on him again.

Last year during the pandemic I bought a raffle ticket for $100 in a local non profit raffle and won $50,000!! It was a pretty exciting day!!!

I entered again this year.... keep your fingers crossed!!!

I've won a dishwasher! I've won a trip! I've won a magnum of sparkling wine!


I've also been in the right place at exactly the right time, multiple times, to help someone in need and be their angel. How lucky is that?!?

I've never been lucky enough to win a lottery for more than $20! But I do believe I have a special guardian angel on my side. Several years ago, I put in a devout prayer with the top guy for some extra college funding and a job. I hadn't gotten around to job searching yet, but exactly one week later, our then Development Director (whom I had never met), approached me with an offer. Said he saw an article I wrote and liked my go-getiveness. That was a life-changing moment! I guess if you consider having prayers unexpectedly answered, I've been pretty amazingly lucky. But no lotteries. ?

A friend and I passed by multiple people selling "front row tickets" to a Fleetwood Mac concert. I felt some sort of intuition and stopped in front of one person to buy "front row tickets" for $40 each. To my surprise, my ticket got me through the nose bleed seat rows, down the bleacher rows, past the floor rows to the front row!!!


On a different kind of lucky level, I have a safe roof over my head, a healthy happy family and nourishing food to fill my belly. That's all the luck I need:).
