What to see in {your BBCON city}
Since most of us will be attending BBCON in our own hometown this year, tell me: If I go to BBCON in YOUR town, what would be a couple of things I should do or see while I am there?

Besides the obvious answer of the beach, we also have
Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden
The Everglades
Frost Museum of Science
Coral Castle

What a great question!
This time of year, in the Napa Valley, CA, you'd be seeing grapes being harvested for winemaking, be able to eat at some great restaurants, take hikes here and there, and there are also some local museums that are quite interesting, such as the Robert Louis Stevenson Museum.

This time of year is a great time to see fall colours from one of our regional parks in Burlington, Ontario. Royal Botanical Gardens has year-round gardens/exhibits too.
And if you're not from the area and wanted to venture outside of the city there's Niagara Falls, wine and cider country. Ontario is full of great day trips, even cheese!

A great question!
In rural upstate NY and Southern VT fall colors will be great around the time of bbcon, I would have to recommend ice cream at Battenkill Valley Creamery and take a walk around the grounds of Salem Art Works.

Here in the mountains of New Mexico, Santa Fe is showing off it's autumnal colours. But in between admiring the golden aspens and eating green chile, you should definitely check out Meow Wolf's House of Eternal Return.

I visited Santa Fe for first time last June. Loved that historic district!

As for my city, the East Village is a fun shopping and dining district just a few blocks from our beautiful state capitol. The Des Moines Art Center is top notch, and Pappajohn Sculpture Park is right in the middle of downtown.
If you have a car and can get away for a bit, Living History Farms has working farms from several periods in Iowa's past. (It was also where Pope John Paul II visited when he came to Iowa in 1979, and there is a nice little chapel on the spot where he celebrated mass.)
Drive your car the other direction, and you can visit Neal Smith National Wildlife Refuge, a restored tallgrass prairie and oak savanna. My husband and I went there last weekend to see if we could find the buffaloes. We turned into their enclosure and…

We're lucky enough to live on the edge of the downtown historic district. I get to take my morning run partly down Canyon Road, admiring the sculptures as I puff past.

Small town, NC here!! You will definitely want to go hiking at Hanging Rock!! Its about a 10 minute drive from where I live. There are also several shops on Main Street (I am close to several small towns that all have Main Streets with cute shops). Saturday morning I love going to our local coffee shop, local bakery and antique shops. We also have a theater that several residents have purchased and renovated and their music/event calendar is filling up! There is also music downtown during the week at several locations and the last Friday of the month (April - October) we have a car show.

If you were here in Phoenix, Arizona, you would be experiencing unusually cold temperatures. I am absolutely freezing and wearing a sweater since it is 50-70 degrees today ? You should really pick up some Japanese fast food at Blue Fin downtown to eat during bbcon.

I am in the heart of Dallas, TX. We are a vibrant diverse city with so much to see and do. The Perot Science Museum and the Crow Asian Art Museum are great for families and both were founded by our legacy families.? Of course there is always ? Big Tex and the State Fair!

Two closest cities to me are Philadelphia and Harrisburg, so either Longwoods Gardens, Independnce Hall, the Betsy Ross House, Dalessandros for the best Cheesesteaks, and maybe the Battleship New Jersey, or HersheyPark and Chocolateworld, The Civil War Museum, Lancaster County and all the good PA Dutch restaurants and this time of year the PA Ren Faire

You would have to see the Great Smoky Mountains and Dollywood!

Hello fellow Midwesterner. I am here in Kansas City. The temperature right now is 60s/70s with some rain. The KC Zoo is here along with an aquarium at Union Station. I will say if they did a BB Con in Missouri St. Louis would be the better option. They have the arch there. I have lived here 11 years and yet to see the arch.

Warm greetings from Buffalo, NY. Although traditionally maligned and the butt of many jokes, Buffalo is truly a beautiful city full of legitimately good neighbors! Buffalo boasts a gorgeous park system designed by Frederick Law Olmsted and maintained by the Olmsted Conservancy. Our architecture is stunning from many Frank Lloyd Wright homes to our jaw dropping art deco City Hall. We have robust public art program with 38 works currently on view throughout the county of Erie featuring artists local to international. Sadly, at this time my museum, the Albright-Knox is under construction as we grow into the Buffalo AKG Art Museum. In the meantime you might check out our satellite location in our Northland neighborhood!

Philly here also. I would recommend taking a walk along Boat House Row and agree with Longwood. The Philly area is actually tops when it comes to gardens you can visit and we have our own passport book that you can get stamps! A few of my favorites are Chanticleer, The Japan House/Fairmount Park and Bartram's Garden https://philadelphia.cbslocal.com/top-lists/top-botanical-gardens-in-philadelphia/
