Midmorning you may spend some time reviewing the prior day’s donations, confirming that they have been properly recorded, and recommending a set of immediate actions as you are our front line for donor stewardship.
In response to a large or otherwise significant donation, you schedule a quick conversation with MNM’s CEO, to ensure proper acknowledgement of the gift and agree to next steps in cultivation.
A midday huddle with colleagues from the Advocacy, Communications, and Strategic Initiatives teams, to ensure your awareness of MNM’s strategic direction and recent events, to help identify opportunities to incorporate it in upcoming campaigns or individual donor conversations.
After lunch you might arrange for a conversation over coffee with a senior MNM colleague and a prospective donor, to highlight our initiatives, build enthusiasm and strong relationships, and learn about that particular donor’s interests and passions.
In between meetings and networking, work progresses on preparation for upcoming events, donor research and strategic planning.
