As the Donor Database and Support Associate your work will be integral to the management and accuracy of the donor database (Raiser’s Edge) and the administrative support of the philanthropy teams fundraising goals, projects, and events.

Your work will include:

  • Processing all donations in a consistent and timely manner.
  • Ensuring the accuracy and quality of recorded constituent and gift information.
  • Producing acknowledgement letters for all donors ensuring letters are meaningfully tailored to the donor’s intent.
  • Gathering and preparing reports for philanthropy team members and council leadership.
  • Ensuring the accuracy and ongoing maintenance of donor records
  • Assisting with and executing monthly reconciliation of donation records.
  • Providing administrative support to the philanthropy team and committees as required.
  • Serving as main contact for event registrations and communications.
  • Executing projects using event software, including peer to peer fundraising, auction and other as needed.
  • Conducting research on donors and prospective donors to inform philanthropy strategies.
  • Working collaboratively with other departments and teams to complete assigned work or projects.
  • Maintaining strict confidentially of all donor records.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned to support business objectives and initiatives.

Your skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience in related field.
  • Minimum two years’ experience providing donor database management or administrative support in a philanthropy/fundraising environment.
  • Experience using Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge
  • Proficiency in MS Office software including Word and Excel required.
  • Excellent organizational abilities with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, to communicate with a culturally diverse population.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and have excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
  • Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and access to reliable transportation. Daily and/or occasional travel may be required.
  • Must have belief in the mission and values of Girl Scouting, be willing to subscribe to the principles expressed in the Promise and Law, and aware of the needs of girls in our pluralistic society.

Salary: From $18 per hour.
