ANTIOCH COLLEGE

Antioch College is A New Kind of College—A College of Action—using its historical strengths and unique position to build and scale a model for what the liberal arts experience can be for all students in the 21st century. As A College of Action, Antioch is not a four-year retreat from the world, but a deeper engagement with it. Originally founded in 1850, Antioch College has long been an agent of change, having been the only liberal arts college in the country with a required work component for more than 100 years. The cooperative education program reflects Antioch College’s critical pedagogical insight that the separation of classroom learning from the world of work is artificial—a philosophy that has produced Nobel laureates, Fulbright and Rhodes scholars, and notables in the arts, government, business, sciences and education.

In collaboration with colleagues in advancement, communications, and other areas of the College, the director of alumni relations will strategically leverage the vision for Antioch College to engage—and help build support from—alumni and other supporters of the College to develop an even more integral source of organizational and professional, as well as financial support.

Antioch College is an equal opportunity employer; the College offers employment, advancement opportunities and benefits in a harassment-free environment on the basis of merit, qualifications, and competency to all individuals without regard to race, color, religion, creed, age, sex, gender identity, national origin, handicap, sexual orientation or covered veteran status. Candidates who can contribute to Antioch’s commitment to diversity and its evolving multilingual culture are encouraged to apply.
