Development Associate - Seattle Humane - Bellevue Washington

Do you have impeccable attention to detail? If so, Seattle Humane is looking for a new Development Associate to join our team.

This position supports the Donor Services team in donor relations, gift entry and acknowledgment as well as data hygiene. This person is accountable for maintaining high standards of data entry and customer service. Development Associates work closely with all members of the development team as well as staff throughout the organization and play a key role in building positive and lasting relationships with our supporters.

What You Will Do

  • Create, update, and maintain all donor records
  • Communicate with donors to field questions and gather information on a daily basis
  • Process fundraising revenue and reconciles accounts with Finance team
  • Implement donor acknowledgement systems
  • Maintain donor management software program and monitor compliance
  • Work with team to acknowledge all gifts in a timely manner

You'll succeed in this role if:

  • You've used databases pull data, run reports, and entered transactions related to donors, customers, or clients
  • You've entered detailed information on database systems and spreadsheets
  • You have communicated on a daily basis to donors, customers, and clients on the phone and through email
  • Your friends know you the first person to tell them about meaningful causes they should get behind

Compensation: Full-time position. $22-24 hourly
