Director of the Villa Fund

Works with the Director of Advancement to build, execute, and track a year-round fundraising plan for the Villa Fund, the bedrock of the school’s fundraising initiatives.

• 12-month, full-time (8am-4pm) position that does require some weekend and night work
• Works with the Director of Advancement to build, execute, and track a year-round fundraising plan for the Villa Fund, the bedrock of the school’s fundraising initiatives
• The director determines appropriate personalized solicitation strategies and manages the direct mail, email, and phone solicitations
• Develop a multi-year, data-driven annual giving plan that sets clear dollar, participation, and qualitative goals
• The Director of the Villa Fund will work to develop goals and strategies that aim to build and engage our donor base, including current and past parents, alumnae, grandparents, and other community members
• Recruit and oversee the volunteer peer to peer solicitors’ network
• This individual will identify, cultivate, and steward meaningful relationships with established and potential donors, seeking and securing gifts for the Annual Fund, as well as identifying potential major gift and planned giving prospects
• Write content for our biannual magazine, Views of Villa
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Advancement
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 3-5+ years of experience in advancement or a related field
• Raiser’s Edge database experience a must
• Proficiency in social media platforms
• Excellent communications skills, both written and oral
• The ability to work independently and within a team setting
• Demonstrated project management skills
