Red Arc Integration to Raisers Edge NXT

Is anyone using the Red Arc integration to Raisers Edge NXT? If so--how is it going? I'm not sure RE is the best place to store this info since award recipients aren't really constituents just yet for us. Normally they wouldn't be added until they actually graduated from our college. The documentation is not abundantly clear on how info will be stored!

    I was just reading the documentation linked above

    and it is titled - Blackbaud Award Management to Raiser’s Edge NXT® Integration.

    I would be interested to hear about anyone else's experience with this.

    @Danielle Spalding @Kylea Johnson Have either of you moved forward with this integration? We are about to go live with RENXT in November and are considering integrating with Award Management after we get through calendar year-end.

    @Diane Couzens We opted not to integrate because we couldn't get a clear answer to our questions. The biggest unknown was if we had to integrate all the records or if we could filter the ones we wanted. I really didn't want to flood our database with records that have no meaning other than they applied for a scholarship. I only wanted to import those with awards. Red Arc couldn't give me a straight answer and Blackbaud directed me to them.

    We do rely on Red Arc for documentation on this API, but I can tell you that because it is pulling from your Fund Disbursements, it will not pull every student who applied; it will only pull applicants with encumbered funds. It's possible you can just pull those in “disbursing” categories, but I'd work with Red Arc Support on that.
