The Major Gifts Officer will manage a portfolio of donors in the major gifts process, soliciting gifts from corporations, foundations, philanthropists, Girl Scout alumnae, and non-alumnae friends. He or she will:

- manage relationships with prospective donors and will be expected to identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit and steward new donors to grow the Girl Scout revenue stream

- work closely with the Fund Development Committee and philanthropic volunteers to generate funds

- help develop donor strategy, build volunteer philanthropic leadership support, and secure funds to meet GSHPA’s annual operating budget and capital fundraising needs.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in relationship management, either from B2B sales or banking, as well as proficiency with MS Office and the ability to travel throughout our footprint. Knowing Raiser's Edge is a plus. This position is remote with the requirement of living within or near Franklin, Cumberland, York, or Adams County - so local candidates only, please!
