One of the most important metrics we analyze in donorCentrics is donor count. How many donors gave to your organization this year and how does it compare to prior years? Is it trending up, down or staying flat over time?

How do you analyze donor counts at your organization? Do you excel sheets or a reporting tool? How often are you looking at your donor counts?

    @Catherine Ross at NYPR we're seeing decreases in new donor acquisition but are retaining donors very well. We keep very close eyes on our donor counts, and even budget around them. We use Tableau, and Salesforce for reporting.
