The Cancer Support Community Delaware (CSCDE) seeks a part-time Donor Base Coordinator, three days a week, with a passion for helping people who are affected by cancer. The Donor Base Coordinator oversees Raisers Edge activities for the state of Delaware for the Cancer Support Community Delaware and reports to the Executive Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees and is responsible for all of Raiser’s Edge database, which includes, donor acknowledgement letters, donations, preparing reports, and lists for the annual appeals.
  • Keeps RE updated and educates all CSCDE staff on updates.
  • Works with the CSCDE Accountant to rectify and input donors into RE.
  • Oversees two annual appeals a year, lists, and execution for all three counties.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for the Cancer Support Community DE’s mission.
  • Robust knowledge of fundraising program building, donor acquisition, research, cultivation, organization, stewardship, and management.
  • Ability to understand and create budgets and other financial documents.
  • Creative problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Able to work comfortably both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to work in a small, open office.
  • Computer competency in Microsoft Office.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of proven development/fundraising experience in the non-profit field.
  • 2-3 years Raisers Edge experience, preferably Blackbaud certified for Raisers Edge.
