Summary: In support of the museum’s mission to engage, educate and challenge a diverse audience by interpreting Richmond’s history, the Director of Development is responsible for the strategy, planning and management of the museum’s major fundraising efforts and donor relationships, foundation and corporate giving, and grants. The Director of Development leads the Development team and reports to the Deputy Director of Communications.

  • Donor Cultivation, Engagement, Community Relations, Events
  • Grant Writing and Proposal Development
  • Board Engagement
  • Budget & Data Analysis Oversight
