Q3 2018 BBCRM Product Advisory Group Update

BBCRM PAG Co-Chair

At the end of the last meeting, we had a new co-chair that had helped to plan for this Q3 meeting, but they have accepted a new opportunity with an organization that is not currently running Blackbaud CRM.  We need a volunteer to serve as co-chair for the BBCRM Product Advisory group.  The responsibilities of the co-chair include:
-          Define and validate meeting agendas
-          Co-lead and facilitate meetings
-          Provide annual review and recommendations of the membership body
-          Collect members’ responses to queries from the Blackbaud Product Development teams and present a consolidated response within the identified timeframe
-          Identifying sub-committee chairs where necessary
-          Coordinate with other Advisory Groups and other vertical markets
-          Serve a two-year term (minimum)

-          Next Steps for future Subcommittees
o   In 2017, we conducted a survey to identify the areas of greatest importance and where the current solution was falling short of our collective needs.  The following chart illustrates these areas the focus that would be created through subcommittees of this PAG.


o   The items in green are the initial subcommittees, with the items in blue on deck for subcommittee creation and yellow following that.
o   We need chairs and members for each of the following.

Upcoming Events

Bbcon is taking place October 9-11 in Orlando.  Check out the website: bbconference.com for a list of breakout sessions and registration information.  100 new breakout sessions have been added in the last month.

• In addition to the thought leadership sessions, we’re excited to showcase several customer-led sessions and Blackbaud sessions, including organizations that are members of this PAG:  World Wildlife Fund, The Nature Conservancy & Save the Children. Check out the Agenda tab on the conference website.
• Blair Underwood was recently announced as a Keynote speaker.  In addition to his acting career, he’s a co-founder of an international non-profit and has deep involvement in the non-profit community, and we’re excited to have him speak.

Upcoming PAG Meetings

1.        Stay tuned for a potential PAG meet up at BBCON in Orlando
2.        We would like to schedule our Q4 meeting for the 1^st half of November and will be sending out a poll to check for best availability of the group for some potential dates.
