No More Half Sandwiches Please!

You are probably asking why I’m talking about eating only half vs. a whole sandwich, and that feeling of satisfaction – or at least I find satisfaction – of enjoying the entire sandwich. All kidding aside, I like to equate this analogy with analyzing a nonprofit database. Does it make sense for your organization to rely solely on reviewing and analyzing historical information in your Raiser’s Edge system? What about having the ability to identify your organization’s best potential prospects now and in the future by predicting future giving potential? If you are missing the predictive data elements in your analysis, your organization is only getting “half the sandwich”, but also one with no lettuce, tomato and condiments!” Other questions to consider:
- How do we make plans for and identify the best prospects for future giving opportunities?
- Are we getting the maximum potential from our donors based on their relationship with us?
- Is it importance for our nonprofit’s fundraising performance to provide insights and metrics with both descriptive and predictive data in your Raiser’s Edge NXT system?
- Is it possible to do so in one cohesive database?

Not only do we help identify wealthy and inclined prospects on your donor base, but we also provide enrichment of your data by updating addresses and appending emails and phone numbers. You and your colleagues can participate in our weekly (and complimentary!) Learn for Analytics online session entitled, “Introduction to Analytics in Raisers Edge NXT,” given by one of our Target Analytics consultants. During this session, we cover the various data enrichment and data analytics services included as part of your NXT subscription, providing not only a description of each piece but also how often the information is available and/or performed for your organization. We round out the session by providing implementation suggestions to help your organization get started with the data.
