One Appeal to Control Them All

If you've read or seen The Lord of the Rings, and, possibly like me, done so many times over, then you know the central story revolves around the one ring. This ring controls the other rings made by Sauron. It also influences those around it, although not usually for the better.

When setting up for Giving Day, the appeal you (or your database administrator) create for your Giving Day is like the one ring. By mapping it to your Giving Day donation form, it controls your ability to segment who has and has not yet given to the form. Furthermore, you can quickly discover how well your Giving Day is doing by filtering by the appeal in your Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT dashboards and reports. Although, unlike the one ring, the Giving Day appeal will hopefully be a force for good for your organization, helping raise awareness and increase revenue.
