Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT®: Increase Donor Impact With Gift Aid Declaration (Europe)

Gift Aid declaration capabilities are now available in Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT® web view.

Gift Aid is great way to elevate a donor's generosity, allowing UK organisations to reclaim 25% of donations made by individual contributors. And now, within Raiser’s Edge NXT web view, you can add and manage Gift Aid declarations.

With this capability, you can view active declarations on the constituent's record and identify if its valid on their summary page. This streamlines daily processes and helps minimise back-office tasks allowing you to focus on other responsibilities. You can find this feature, in web view, under Declarations on a constituent's record.







Can I access the history of the constituent’s declarations(s)?

Yes, and it is simple. You can view the full history of the donor's declarations by selecting Include Inactive in Declarations. If the donor has any concerns or questions, you will be able to guide them through their past donations and declarations.

You can also add, edit, and delete any Gift Aid declaration(s). When changes are made, in database view or web view, they immediately synchronise in real-time.

What about existing declarations?

If an active declaration exists on the constituent record, adding a declaration in database view or web view, will automatically end the previous declaration, eliminating unnecessary steps.

What about unconfirmed declarations?

Unconfirmed (oral) declarations can be trying to confirm. Raiser's Edge NXT web view identifies which declarations need confirmation to ensure your organisation receives those additional pounds. On the constituent's summary page, the declaration will identify as valid or if it requires confirmation.

What permissions apply to each user?

No to worry, individual permissions in web view reflect the permissions established in database view. There are no changes or feature enhancements to the security options, and you don't need to set-up new permissions, but if you do need to make changes, you can by going to database view security options. What about Gift Aid in database view?

There is no change to the Gift Aid process in database view. Learn more about Gift Aid and Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT.
