Here are the latest changes in Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT for April 23, 2025.

• Add social sharing options for Optimized Donation Forms
• Add automated pledges in web view (for some of you)
• Add pledges to Standard Donation Forms (for some of you)
• Additions to Standard Reports
• Search available query fields

Add social sharing options for Optimized Donation Forms

To encourage donors to share their support of your organization with their friends, you can enable social sharing for Optimized Donation Forms. Social sharing options will appear to donors when the form launches from a hyperlink or button using the Optimized Loader Script on your website.



From Online Giving, Overview, create or edit an Optimized Donation Form. Next, from Confirmations, select Display social sharing options under Social sharing. To learn about social sharing and how to use the Optimized Loader Script, see Enable social sharing and Publish an Optimized Donation Form.



Add automated pledges in web view (for some of you)

To save time processing pledge payments, now you can add pledges paid with credit and debit cards in the web view. Previously, you could only add manual pledges which did not have a payment method. When you add an automated pledge, from Home, New, Gift, or a constituent record, select credit or debit card under Payment method. For more information, see Pledges.



Add pledges to Standard Donation Forms (for some of you)

To provide donors more ways to give, you can add pledges to Standard Donation Forms. From Online Giving, Overview, create or edit a Standard Donation Form. From Get started select Pledges under Gift types. To learn how to create a Standard Donation Form and configure gift options, see Standard Donation Forms and Gift Options.



Additions to Standard Reports

We’ve introduced the following new reports:

• Constituent Giving History Report

• Top Donors Report

• LYBUNT Report

• Comparative Report

Search available query fields

To help you quickly find fields, you can now search for available query fields from the query editor. For more information, see Query Editor.

How do I convert pledges which manually process via credit card in database view to be automated pledges?

Thrilled to see the library of Reports growing and the ability to search for fields in Query was sorely missed!

This initial release only has the function for newly added pledges. We will work on the conversion process once this is fully rolled out. There is no timeline for that addition yet, but it is for sure something we will be doing.

Oh nooo! I was excited about the ability to add pledges to forms, but got to the last step of configuring and realized there's no option to be invoiced.

It's always something! We'll have to keep waiting to use this. Please prioritize adding an invoice me/pay later option ?

There is a function for that, I believe. You can go to the gift in NXT and press the convert button. I'm not an expert, but that's what we did when I came on a couple years ago.

You can also go to data health and there's an option to do it in bulk.

I second @Spring Velazquez! Looking forward to more updates on Reports in web view so we can start utilizing them. Many of ours have run-time variables which are not appearing yet in web view. Thank you all for the great work so far!
