What's Your End-of-Year Plan?

The end of the school year is approaching, and if you’re like me, you’re already dreaming about summer break! But there are so many different options for how and where to spend your summer break. So, what type are you?

If you’ve got the family packed into an RV to travel to your favorite National Park for the summer, you’re the adventurous type! You’re also a planner – you’ve got your itinerary laid out in advance so you can avoid the crowds at all the most popular spots, and you nabbed your hiking permits as soon as the lottery opened up.

You’re probably a creative type if you and the family are headed to Disney World for your summer vacation! You’re fun, family oriented, and love those magical moments in life. You’re a kid at heart, and you’re looking forward to meeting your favorite Disney princess, eating your way around EPCOT, and hunting for all the hidden Mickeys.

Maybe you just want to lay on the beach all summer. If so, you’re the go-with-the-flow type! You prefer a spontaneous vacation and never know where the day will take you, but you’re open to all possibilities. And you’re definitely happiest with the sun on your face and sand between your toes.

Finally, if you’re hitting the open sea on a cruise, you’re practical! You know that a cruise is a great deal for your family because it includes meals, activities, excursions, entertainment, and more, and you don’t have to plan any of it! The family gets an amazing summer vacation filled with excitement, while you can lay back and relax.

No matter how and where you’re spending your summer vacation, I’m sure that end-of-the-year administrative tasks are the last thing on your mind. But, before you can truly relax for the summer, there are some items on the end-of-the-year checklist that you need to check off in order to wrap up the school year and set yourself up for a successful upcoming year! These include updating users, graduating and promoting students, managing settings for the next year, and more.
