HE PAG Community Frequently Asked Questions & Answers



How can I update my school's profile and/or contacts in the Member Directory?

Click on DIRECTORY in the menu bar. Search for your schoool's member entry.  Click on the hyperlink for the member entry.  Click the Edit Item task in the bottom of the screen.  Update and save your school's profile.  Note, it may take an hour or so for the updates to be published to the Member Directory.  

How do I send an email message other HE PAG members?

Click on MESSAGE in the menu bar. Position your cursor in the To field. Click on the names of those you want to message. Enter your subject, message body and press Send. Note, that if you wish to correspond with all HE PAG members, you should start a discussion instead (all HE PAG members will receive email alerts when discussions are entered or updated). 

I am having trouble sending a group message, what should I do? 

Select your recipients, by clicking the names of your recipients, this should place their names in the "To" field. Enter the "Subject" and "Message body". The message body must be entered before you attach a file. To attach a file, click the Paperclip icon in the message body tool bar (after entering your message). Click Send Message at the bottom of the page, to send your message. If you message goes through, you will see a green bar with "Message Sent!". If your message did not go through, a red bar will appear with "Message Not Sent.". If your message did not go through, try it again and make sure have entered information in all the required fields before attaching a file. Sometimes the site is slow, so make sure you do not move through the steps too quickly. Starting a discussion is often a better alternative because all responses will be recorded within the Community for all members to see. 

How do I update my profile?

Click on your picture to the left of your hame at the top right of the page. On the next page, click the Edit Profile button (located towards the top right).

How do people become members of the HE PAG community site?

Contact a member of HE PAG Leadership (Chair or Co-Chair).  HE PAG Leadership can grant access to the Community and send a welcome email which provides all the information and links needed to join this community. Note, in order to be invited to the HE PAG sub-community, you must first register on the overall Blackbaud Community. 

Who do I contact if I don't see an answer to my question?

Contact the HE PAG Chair or Co-Chair. See first question above for how to send messages through the community. HE PAG Leadership pictures and links are located on the right-hand side of the HE PAG Community home page

Who do I contact if I am having problems accessing the Community, becoming a member, or with some of the site functionality?

How do I change the frequency of the HE-PAG Community emails?

Click on SETTINGS in the menu bar and change your settings under the Notifications and Subscriptions tabs, click the SAVE button to update your settings.

I am not getting HE-PAG Community emails, what should I do?

Click on SETTINGS in the menu bar and change your settings under the Notifications and Subscriptions tabs, click the SAVE button to update your settings.

Where can I find a link to the HE PAG Community?

How can I find a list of all HE PAG Members?

Go to the Directory tab and click on the HE PAG MEMBER LIST button. 

How do I fix the rending of an image? For example, the logo for my institution is cut off. 

Images need to be square and should be 252x252 pixels to display properly. This is a site-wide issue that we hope will be improved in the future. Our Blackbaud site administrator (Holly Herbert) will periodically fix images on the HE PAG Community that are not rendering properly.  

How do I delete an image I've uploaded?

Click your picture (the image to the left of your name in the upper right corner of the page). This will take you to your Profile page. From your Profile page, click View Photos (just to the right of your picture). This will display all photos you have uploaded. Click on the blue Manage My Photos button. Then, click on the photo you wish to delete. A window will display with a button to delete the photo. 

How can I find or manage the files I've uploaded?

Click your picture (the image to the left of your name in the upper right corner of the page). This will take you to your Profile page. From your Profile page, click View Photos (just to the right of your picture). From the View Photos page, click the My Files link at the left (just below your picture). This will take you to a page that displays the files you have uploaded. Click on a file and a window will pop-up, allowing you to change the file attributes, or delete the file. 

What browsers are supported?

Chrome, Firefox and Safari work well. IE is not supported.
