ResearchPoint Q3 Release

The newest release of ResearchPoint, 5.18, is now live.  This release incorporates changes to some of the group and segment names within Affluence Insight as well changes to Wealth and Giving Capacity calculations.

Target Affluence Segment Updates
In this release we have updated two of the Affluence group names and two Segment descriptions.  The changes are as follows:

• Enigmas have been re-named Affluent Enigmas
• The Masses have been re-named Nonaffluent Engimas
• Blue-collar Masses have been re-named Blue-collar Enigmas
• Non-starter Masses have been re-named Non-starter Enigmas

These descriptions have been updated in the ResearchPoint Affluence Insight Dashboard as well as on constituent records in ResearchPoint. 

Wealth and Giving Capacity Changes
Federal Election Commission (FEC) data is no longer used to calculate a prospect’s wealth and giving capacity.  This change is in compliance with the Federal Election Campaign Act.  Please note that this will not impact previously reported data.  More information about the Federal Election Campaign Act can be found here .


If you sync ResearchPoint with Raiser’s Edge, you will need to re-sync in order for these updates to appear in Raiser’s Edge.
