New Resources in the Blackbaud Community

We are expanding our resources in the Blackbaud Community to help you during this time. 


Expansions include:
  • New Covid-19 Discussion Page
  • Expanded Jobs Board
  • Community Feedback Forum
Here's a breakdown of the new features in Community:We now have a page dedicated to COVID-19. These discussions are for members looking to discuss best practices as it relates to their day-to-day operations.


Bookmark this link: community.blackbaud.com/covid19 and you can subscribe to any forum by commenting or by clicking subscribe to forum.


We've also linked up Blackbaud's COVID-19 resources. You can find that link in every community on the side of the page.


We've also expanded our jobs page to include not only open positions, but members who are looking for a job can also post. You can attach a resume, but keep in mind it is a public forum. Best practice would be to sum up the type of job you are qualified for and have someone reach out to you via private message in community for your resume. You can also post a resume that doesn't include personal information (phone number, address, etc). 


If you have an open positions and would like to advertise it, please include where the position is located in the title: (ie: Dallas, TX or remote) that will help job seekers look for openings in their area.


You can also utilize the search bar in the jobs area to look for key words to narrow down results.


We will continue to add resources in the Blackbaud Community as we navigate these uncharted waters. We are here for you, first and foremost. 


I wanted to close out with a word from each of your Community Managers, both Ray and Elizabeth, along with myself to impart words of compassion, helpfulness, and peace. 

Ray: "We're here for you, Community. While many of us have started working from home over the last few weeks, you can take comfort in the fact that Community has and will be here for you.  In my more than 15 years of online community management, I have seen more good in my past few years in Blackbaud than in my entire career combined. Being able to provide this safe space and area for you to connect makes my heart swell. From each and every one of my family, (there's 8 of us!) please stay healthy, calm, and mindful of those around you. We were here for you before this; we're here for you now during this; and we will be here when we come out the other side."

Elizabeth: "When our world faces issues, those of us in the Social Good Community run to help others, not away. Thank you all for helping each other in the Blackbaud Community by posting thought-provoking questions, replying to each others' questions with your best practices, and sharing words of good will. I am sending everyone good vibes."

Me (Crystal): "I'm so proud of the Community and how it's grown over the years. We are now approaching 100,000 members. When I started this journey years ago, I had about 100 members in a Target Analytics Community. I'm always touched by a member's willingness to help another member. Now is the time, more than ever, to uplift and inspire. I have no doubt we'll overcome this, and the bonds we form here in our Community will become lifelong."

    Ray, Elizabeth, and Crystal - thank you for the kind words.  I am so inspired by the good people are doing every day as we navigate these changing times.  My neighbors are sewing masks, people are delivering food to our vulnerable populations, and many are buying gift cards to keep businesses in my small town up and running.  I am so proud to be a part of my hometown community, my Blackbaud community, and our worldwide community.
