What's New In Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT® — September 9, 2025

Here are the latest changes in Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT for September 9, 2025.

Quick access to add new constituents and gifts from navigation

The New button, previously located on the Home page, is now in the left navigation. This change enables you to quickly add a new constituent or gift from any page, improving feature visibility and workflow efficiency.

Easily add campaign, appeals and designation to donation form URLs

Now, you can add parameters such as a designation, appeal, or campaign to a donation form's URL from the form's Publish tab. Under URL parameters, select Build hyperlink with parameters. To learn how to build the URLs, see Add Parameters to URLs in the UI.

More analysis opportunities with new Standard Reports

We’ve introduced the following new reports:

• Campaign Performance Analysis Report
• Cash Receipts Journal Report

Address processing fields now available in web view

In response to feedback, we now offer address processing fields for queries. Address processing fields allow you to consider seasonal addresses, prioritize address types, and handle cases where no valid address is available for individuals and organizations in your query.

Create and Manage Gift Aid claims in web view

From Gifts, Gift Aid claims, you can now create and monitor the status of your gift aid claims from one location.

Select New claim to create a claim for all gift records or select specific gifts. Under Gift Aid claims progress, review the status of your claims and see how many are unsubmitted or waiting on HRMC remittance. For more information, see Gift Aid Management.

Under Related Links, Claim settings, you can enter a new profile to create and submit claims to HRMC and manage existing profiles. For more information, see Gift Aid Claim Settings.

Under Related links, Gift Aid rules, you can set rules for which gift type to include in claims, and the required amount of time to wait to claim gift aid on verbal declarations. For more information, see Gift Aid rules.

Enhanced Luminate Online integration available in web view (for some of you)

You can now manage several aspects of your Raiser's Edge and Luminate Online integration directly within Raiser's Edge NXT. While work continues on expanding web view integration, this update introduces a connection between Raiser's Edge NXT and Luminate Online, along with options for working with constituent and gift data.

Supervisor users with access to the database plugin will see the new top-level menu item labeled Luminate Online in web view. The database view plugin remains unchanged, but the web view version offers a convenient experience for completing integration tasks.

Regarding "Easily add campaign, appeals and designation to donation form URLs", is this not the same thing as when you go to "Edit Form" > "1. Get started > and fill out the sections for Designation and Hidden Fields? I do not understand the difference if someone can help explain😅. Many, many thanks!

@Bianca Gonzalez the appeal and campaign you set on the Edit Form interfaces are the default settings for the form. Adding these via a URL allows you to override the defaults when users enter in through that link only. This is useful if you don't want to setup a different form for each campaign or appeal (For example, if you have 5 different email appeals you're using for the same campaign, you could setup 5 different url links so that you can track each campaign's success statistics separately in RENXT. )

I've been unable to find the new Address Processing Field options in query. Please could you explain these new options in more detail than the Help page does, or point me to where I can find more information?

@Nick Townsend , we've updated the help document to be a bit more explicit about finding the fields.

In the field list of a constituent query, you'll select Addresses > Address Processing, then choose your address fields.
