Blackbaud Altru Developer Needed for Members Site Connections in Wordpress

We are a local museum that offers memberships. We use the CRM Blackbaud Altru to manage our member data (i.e. their names, membership tiers, payments, member benefits, etc.). Our CRM Blackbaud Altru houses all of the member data and it also has the ability for members to sign up for a membership and renew memberships.

But the CRM doesn’t have a public facing webpage (or members portal) for members to log in to view their benefits and manage their membership after they sign up.

So our goal is to create a private members portal webpage on WordPress that members can log into to manage their memberships and view their member benefits by using an API connection that pulls in the member data from our CRM Blackbaud Altru.

Our WordPress website has been built with the Elementor theme.

These are the private member pages that need connections to Altru to pull member data:

Page 1: Login page (Example: https://community.wolftrap.org/portal/login%29

Page 2: Members dashboard that will display the member name, a welcome message, membership tier, membership cost, member benefits, the number of guest passes available, links to renew or cancel their membership, and a link to reach out for help (this information will need to be pulled in from Blackbaud Altru)

Page 3: Membership renewal/cancellation page (to renew their membership or to cancel it)

Page 4: Checkout page to renew membership (using a form from our CRM Blackbaud Altru)

The API will also need to automatically provide access for new members to the members portal, as we will always have new members signing up. So as new members sign up, they will automatically need to be given access to the members portal via the API.

We are handling all of the UX/UI work. We just need help developing the API connections for each page above.

    Hi Keshia,

    This sounds like a solid project for integrating Blackbaud Altru with your WordPress member portal.

    The REST API connections you need for authentication, member data sync, and automatic access provisioning are all within Altru's capabilities.

    I can handle the API development for all four pages, especially the tricky parts like maintaining session state and real-time data updates.

    The Elementor integration should work smoothly with custom API endpoints.
