PowerUp Challenge: Task # 3 - Run and Review Tallies for Constituent Codes

Understanding how your constituent codes are used is essential for keeping your database accurate and meaningful. To run a Tallies report:

Go to Reports, Demographic and Statistical Reports and select Tallies.
On the Fields tab, choose Constituency Code as your field.
Add Primary Value to the Columns section for additional insight.
On the Format tab, under Detail, change the option to Include constituent for all field values.
Preview the report and use the results to guide cleanup and standardization of your constituent codes.

I hit enter too quickly! Meant to follow with - to be honest though, I prefer going into NXT, Tables, and looking at View Uses, because then I can get a query of everyone in that particular code table. However, that is a bit frustrating to have to run for each single table option, tallies is nice for a fast count of everything.

Every quarter I do a tidy up of constituent codes - this will be really useful as an ongoing project to tackle the records from the database that got merged into ours, where the constituency code order were extremely higgledy piggledy.

We just encountered the same issue. For us, it was due to constituent code Date From / Date To information falling outside the date range of the statistical report. Since we only assign one constituent code for each person, we removed all Date From and Date To data. That removed the <Unknown> block from our reports.
