Are Constant Contact email sends visible on a constituent record in Raiser's Edge NXT?

Although a tile appears on a constituent record in RE once it is integrated with Constant Contact, it does not appear to display emails that were sent. It only seems to show emails that someone "engaged with".

I know that Blackbaud is working on a Communications tile for constituent records. Can you share any timeline details for that, and if it will display information about emails sent through Constant Contact even if a constituent doesn't "engage" with it?

    Hi @Karen Diener. The engagements add in tile covers sends, opens, and clicks.

    • Sends: When an email was delivered to them.
    • Opens: When they viewed the message.
    • Clicks: Which specific links they interacted with.

    For each of these, you’ll see the Activity Type, the Time/Date, and the Campaign Name.  In addition to the three main engagement categories, you will also see bounces and forwards as well.

  • @Patrick Costa We did a very small test with 3 email recipients, and none of them are showing engagement information on their Constant Contact tile. What is the best way to reach out to you for troubleshooting?

  • For the sake of completeness, I thought it was important to add to my original post so that everyone could see the answer.

    The Constituent Engagement tile on a record is where Constant Contact information is stored. But it is important to know that this is temporary and only retains email information for the last 30 days. It will be available on a contact record in Constant Contact forever, to my knowledge.
