Blackbaud Releases Tap to Pay on Android to Blackbaud Integrated Payments Customers

Blackbaud Integrated Payments customers processing in U.S. dollars can now use Tap to Pay on Android for a quick, secure, and convenient way to take payments or donations. 

Following last year’s release of Tap to Pay on iPhone, Blackbaud has expanded Tap to Pay support to Android devices. Blackbaud Integrated Payments customers processing in U.S. dollars can now use Tap to Pay on Android with the latest version of the Blackbaud MobilePay Terminal app. To get started, see the Tap to Pay on Android setup documentation.  

Tap to Pay on Android lets organizations accept in-person, contactless payments using the MobilePay Terminal app and an Android device with an NFC reader. This means no additional hardware, like card readers or terminals, is needed. 

Supporters can pay using their contactless debit and credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other digital wallets by simply tapping their device on the Android device collecting payments or donations.

Hi Tom, there is nothing else planned for the rest of this year but we are considering other currencies for next year. We will keep everyone posted in future Product Update Briefings.
