Here are the latest changes in Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT for July 7, 2026.

Benefits are now available in web view

Benefits are incentives you provide in return for support, such as donations, memberships, or participation in gifts and appeals. They can include items like merchandise, event access, discounts, or other perks that add value to the constituent experience.

While each area uses benefits in a different context, they all follow the same general concept. You define the benefit in code tables, specify how many you provide, and record its value. You can also track when you send or fulfill each benefit.

Add and manage tributes in batch

You can now add and manage tributes directly in grid batch. To get started, from Configure columns, add the Tributes column to the batch. After you enter a constituent, select Apply tribute to open the tributes modal, where you can add honorees, define tribute details, and set acknowledgement status using the same experience as the gift record. From this modal, you can also edit existing tributes, add additional tributes, or remove them as needed.

Compare package performance at a glance on appeal records

On the Packages tab of appeal records, new performance columns help you quickly compare how each package is performing. You can now view cost, total revenue, number of gifts, donor count, and largest gift directly in the package list — so you can scan results, sort by key metrics, and identify which packages are driving the most impact without leaving the tab.

Select a value to drill through to the underlying gifts or donors for that package.

Find the best branding card more quickly

Optimized Donation Forms includes an enhanced branding card selector that helps you search, preview, and create branding cards in one focused experience when you build or edit a form. You can review the options in context and apply the correct branding with fewer steps. Previously, the selector showed only card names, which made it harder to evaluate your selection.

Manage constituent lists with full accountability

With managed lists, you can create a constituent list where you control exactly who is included, and every addition or removal is tracked in a detailed changelog — giving your team full accountability over list membership.

When you create a managed list, choose a starting source — individual constituents, an existing list, or a query. If you start from a query list that already has a change log in database view, that history is automatically migrated into your new managed list so you retain a continuous audit trail.

Note: If you use query lists with a change log in the database view, managed lists bring that same capability into the web view.

To view who changed the list, when, and what they did, select Add/ExcludeView changelog.

Manage General Ledger settings in web view

(For those with Financial Edge NXT integration)

Organizations integrated with Financial Edge NXT can now view and update General Ledger settings directly in web view. Access the new Ledger page from Gift Management settings to review integration details and manage accountability and appeal financial settings used for gift posting.

Analyze package performance with advanced metrics on appeal records

(US and Canada only; premium feature)

On the Packages tab of appeal records, the Package performance tile shows your best and worst performing packages side by side. For each metric — including total gifts, gift count, donor count, average gift, median gift, largest gift, ROI, and conversion rate — you can see at a glance which package is leading, and which may need attention. Select a package name to view its details or select a metric value to drill through to the underlying gifts or donors.

The package list also includes additional columns available with this feature: average gift, median gift, ROI, and conversion rate. Hover over the ROI or conversion rate column header for details on how each metric is calculated.

Prospect Insights Pro opportunities available in your workflows

(US and Canada only; premium feature)

Now you can create opportunities with suggested ask amounts from the Work Center, a constituent list, or from a constituent's record.

Prospect Insights Pro's suggested ask amounts are based on a prospect's likely gift capacity and are designed to help you maximize fundraising outcomes.

Comments

  • Managing Tributes in NXT batch mode is great. However, it appears that you cannot find constituents that are marked 'deceased.' That procludes adding/managing memorial gifts.
